Facilities of the Club The club has a Bowling Green and Pavilion, with Ladies and Gents  teams competing in East Lothian District Leagues, as well as Senior and Junior Leagues. The club also has a Function Hall that seats up to 110 people, a spacious Lounge Bar,  a large pool room,  Darts & Domino's, and is open 7 days a week. Carpet Bowls are played in the Function Hall on some week-day evenings during the winter months. The club has facilities and access for disabled members and visitors.  

The Bowling & Social Club Opening Hours 

Bowling Green is open 7 days a week from 11am till dark. - Apr 10th - Oct 5th
The Social Club licensing  hours are as follows :-

Sunday:        12am -  12pm
Mon - Wed      7pm  - 11pm
Thurs             7pm -  12pm
Fri                 7pm  -   1am
Sat               11am - 12pm

News Update 2010 :The Famous Grouse Invitation Fours was a great success with a large  turn out of players and spectators. On a day of mixed weather, the CastlePark Four were the eventual winners, beating Prestongrange in the final. Our thanks to all who stayed for the presentation of prizes, and a big thank you to our sponsors, "The Famous Grouse Whisky", who made the tournament possible, we really appreciate and value their continued support.

 The Bowling Green is now open for 2010 season, First jack was delivered by Jim Calderhead on Saturday 17th April , followed by a short game of bowls before members retired to the club for refreshments. The weather was kind, and a good day was had by all, thanks to to the good turn out of members, raring to go !.

2009 Gents Championship 2009 was won by Stuart Cymber, who beat veteran Rab Martin on a lovely sunshine evening.A good crowd turned out for the Final and newcomer to the club, Stuart, was in great form, getting off to a flying start. Rab had an uphill to struggle to try and catch up but Stuart proved too strong in the end.

Wednesday 15th July Ladies Jennella Triples had a great turnout as usual from across the county, with the ladies playing in all conditions from sunshine to thunder storm. the eventual winners were CastlePark B.C. see Pictures in Photo gallery.

Sunday 12th July, Belhaven Open Triples was won by Dave White, Eddie Hanratty, & Ronnie Gunn, who beat Stevie Greenan, Andrew Cormack, & Terry Kirkwood in an Excellent Final , with a good crowd staying to watch the Final. This was appreciated by the Officials and the Players, as it made for a great atmosphere. The Bowling Green opened on Saturday 11th of April 2009, with the first Jack of the new season being delivered by Agnes McLean.  There was a game of bowls followed by refreshments, and music to finish off the day.  The weather was fantastic and shirt sleeve order was in effect. The  club A.G.M. was held on Sunday 22nd March 2009 with the existing committee being re-elected Status Quo.  Members are reminded that Bowling and Social Fees are now due, and should be paid at club prior to the start of the new Bowling season.

2008   E.L.B.A. 125 years Anniversary Celebration at Prestongrange Bowling & Social Club on Saturday 6th September went well with everybody having a good time. See photo gallery pictures for 2008.     

    Andrew Cormack and Stevie Greenan pulled all the stops out to get through the ELBA Pairs semi-final by 1 shot. and then go on to win the Final by 1 shot, that's brinkmanship of at its best, Very Well Done. 

 Ladies Bowling Champion for 2008 Izzie Scott for 2nd year in a row,  Gents Champion is Terry Kirkwood, Youths Champion is Kieran Yule.
